Any expansion will require not 1 but at least 2 teams to balance the conferences and would eventually need to be as high as 8 teams in order to keep divisions even. Adding a single team would be a scheduling nightmare. It’s hard enough filling 32 rosters with NFL level talent. Watering that down even further would hurt the product. Id rather see a D-league system to develop more players.
