Will 5-6 wins be enough for Canales to keep his job?
L-TownCat replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Seizing an opportunity to be an NFL head coach regardless of circumstance is an easy EASY decision. You take the job even if no one else wants it. You may never get another shot. He can always go back to being an OC somewhere. -

That’s what happens when you let the opponent dictate the matchup because you leave your best cover guy on one side of the field. its so goddamned stupid I can’t believe it’s even allowed on an NFL field. These guys are supposed to be the best and brightest football minds on earth and this is the big brain poo they pull? -

I’m not nearly as done with Dave as I am with the QB he’s been saddled with. No one can win or be consistent with that handicap. It just can’t be done. -

Sure glad Bryce is ok! Couldn’t have gone backwards without him! -

I haven’t said how much I dislike Evero in awhile. I dislike him. -
Why? Seriously. Why? He plays high school BS run around behind the line and hope something comes open offense. No structure, no discipline, no timing nothing. Hes just a mirror image of Bryce. Has physical tools to succeed but no football IQ at all. Same results, different kind of disappointment.

Has that skinny fker ever even seen a weight room?

If the players address it to each other in house like a couple of them said, then it’s still a problem, the only recourse then is to say it publicly. I don’t have a problem with it. Dave’s vageener is showing again.

Canales is telling us, but we aren’t listening
L-TownCat replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers
Listening to it, that’s how it sounded right after the game when I was ill and ready to chew thru my hat. Reading it now, I can see he’s actually trying to say something. But we all know unless youre about to get fired or can’t be fired you don’t get to say what you want. He really is telling us what the problems are while remaining diplomatic. He has to. Im not trying to absolve DC from anything, but I couldn’t imagine having to try to win football games in the scenario he’s currently in. He signed up for it, but damn. That’s a tough spot. -

wtf is a “me to you factor”? That’s some of the most made up poo I’ve heard. -
Hard to justify being totally wrong in the face of irrefutable evidence. People really don’t like being wrong.

Except it’s not, because I’m not talking about bringing Cam back.
-
That’s not my point. My point is an old broken out of the league Cam Newton could still give you more than our current QB1. In no way shape or form am I advocating to bring Cam back. Just stating facts.

Under no circumstances can you give this staff the opportunity to roll tiny tot back out there next season.

Neither one want to throw to anybody beyond the line of scrimmage. Clausen was a 2nd round pick on a team that the owner notoriously refused to spend money on b/c of the trade negotiations and had a lame duck coach that despised young QBs. He wouldn’t have been good anyway. Bryce has everyone holding his hand, a good roster and a coach hand picked just for him, no competition and friendly media. He still finds new ways to suck even harder than the last time he set the suck bar. Who cares which one is the worst? They both blow ass.
-
When someone with an actual NFL caliber arm starts throwing while Bryce is anywhere near you can’t hide it. The players aren’t dumb they see it too. They’re trying not to lose the support of the other players. My best guess anyway.
-
What do you mean? If they go any deeper than 15 yards Bryce can’t/won’t throw it and even if he does it takes 3 business days to get there and it’s still off the mark. Dont even try to blame the receivers just don’t.

He can’t save us but I’d bet dollars to doughnuts he could throw for more than 125 yds a game.

Bryce sucks.

Any other choice is the right choice. Literally anything. Put 5 choices on the wall and throw a dart. That’s a better choice.
