  1. That’s what we have all said for years, but somehow, here we are! I hate the Aints!
  2. I agree! If we offload Darnold and CMC's contract without giving up another player I am partying like crazy!
  3. I think the Taints are in it because they know if Carolina gets Watson they are going to get beat twice a year for a decade.
  4. I thought the Steelers didn't mind rapey quarterbacks?
  5. That's ridiculous! If we had Kirk Cousins perform like he has the last few years, we would be in the playoffs! The reason Minnesota is 33-31-1 is because their defense sucks!!! Look at this chart for 2021 NFL Total Defense. Last year Carolina was ranked 2nd!!! Minnesota was ranked 30th!!!!
  6. I loved the Steelers growing up, but I'm from there. I moved to NC when I was in 5th grade. As soon as we got the expansion team, I became a Panthers fan! The Steelers are still my 2nd favorite team. I was hoping Tepper would truly makes us more like them. I'm still hoping he will get it!
  7. They shouldn’t have take out Harrell for most of the 2nd quarter. He was producing unlike Plumblee.
  8. Harrell is who I wished we had watching him destroy us around the rim whenever we played Washington. He is superior to Plumblee. Harrell isn't afraid to put up the ball when he gets it down low. How many times does Plumblee pass it back outside? This is a great trade.
  9. I keep hoping Mitch is going to trade for a good big man! We are spreading ourselves too thin on the defensive end trying to pick our poison of guarding the paint or stopping three pointers. No way for us to do both, most nights.
  10. La Melo named an All star by the commissioner today!!! He's an All star! https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10026153-lamelo-ball-dejounte-murray-named-2022-all-star-game-replacements-for-durant-green
  11. So, basically Brady Christensen has all the physical tools to be a starting LT, but no one probably worked with him on hip position, shoulder height, and footwork. That falls on the Offensive Coordinator not providing individual time and the O line coach for not coaching worth a poo.
  12. I wouldn't say I'm a "newer poster". I've been a member here talking about Jake Delhomme vs. Rodney Peete. That being said. We need to fix the offensive line AND somehow draft our next franchise QB. There have been several QBs drafted over the years that the "experts" didn't think they would amount to much, but they were wrong. I'm just hoping we have a staff that can spot a future franchise QB and get it done. I'm not sure that we do.
  13. Which is easier to find in FA or the draft, if your team spends the resources: A. A competent Offensive line B. A franchise QB If you never try to draft your next franchise QB, then you probably will never have one.
  14. I bet the Panthers choose option C.
  15. He's the best out of the lot they interviewed so far. At least he has called plays in the NFL and been to the playoffs multiple seasons.
  16. I think Brady Christensen might be a serviceable LT. But, for whatever reason, Rhule decided to not play him until the last 2 games. He looked decent as a rookie. Which makes me think, he could be an average LT. Which is far better than anything we have had since Gross retired. I would be fine naming Brady the starter at LT from the start of OTAs next year, with an eye on upgrading the position to a great player in the future. What we can not do is go into next season with total crap on our O line at the 2 guard positions and center. Who knows how good Christensen can be, if he played next to a good LG! If we just replaced the 3 interior O line positions, we might have enough capital (either draft or free agency $) to get a QB. I think we can do it in a single offseason, I just don't have faith they will!
  17. If we would have used the 1st pick on Slater and solidified the Left OT position and in the 2nd drafted a top rated guard, or center, it's possible that Sam Darnold just might have been a serviceable QB and we would have probably have won 2 or 3 more games. Rhule and Fitty really screwed the pooch on last year's draft with all their genius trading back for players we didn't really need.
