Where we lived up until a year ago used to have geese come in all the time, but there would always be a couple that would come and make it their home and have their young there. Used to follow my dad around the pond about 20 years ago hoping he'd throw them pieces of dog treats that he kept in his pocket. I think we had a couple generations from that original couple that came over back then. They'd always make their nest on this little island on the pond and take turns sitting in the eggs. When they'd hatch they would wait a week and then I guess walk them off to another pond close by and then come home for a couple weeks before they flew off. Later in the season we'd get a couple dozen that would come and hang for a while. I hated them. Left that green poop sludge everywhere that my dog lived to roll around in and eat. The last year we were there we had another type of geese that came in as well. I think they were called cackling geese. They are smaller and have a weird honk that's more like a squeak than a honk. For a few weeks we would have between 40-60 geese out there. Such a nuisance. Since they were also pooping in the pond they'd bring seeds in of some kind of weed that would cover most of the pond. I loved that little goose family that came, but when we had dozens come in it turned into a big pain. Makes me glad we moved into town.

just googled him. saw part of that fast car duet. i've always liked that song, even though it's just a laid back chill song. he somehow just made it a boring waste of song sung by a guy who tries to add some weird rhythm to his singing sounds like he's got a mouth full of marbles. btw, that's not country. i don't know what that is.

and whoever this combs guy is...he's not speaking for me. not sure why anyone would assume he's every panther fan everywhere.

i might be in the minority, but i really can't stand mcafee. i've tried watching his show, but i just can't.

whatever it takes. got to spend money to make money. i guess that fits here. maybe you've got to spend more now to spend less later? i don't know. i'm just glad that we are seriously investing in it finally. i don't care who is playing QB. it needed done.

the potential that is there if we had both is amazing. not expecting much in the way of effort from either, though. i would like to have them both and be surprised. worth a shot.

i have a lot of family from up there as well, but i grew up hearing it when i went up there. they were all country folk who didn't live near any big cities at all so that might be it. i've actually heard that some in a couple counties in NC and some in VA as well. very rare, though. up there i head it a lot.

trade 2 first rounders for a top WR? no thanks. trade 2 2nd rounders for a top WR? Also no...not this year. we need as many good player as we can get to fill out the ranks. we can worry about getting elite players later. plus, talent is so good and deep in this WR class that guys we could get in the 2nd and maybe even third round would have been selected a round earlier every other year. only trading i want on draft day is moving back to get more picks, but right now i'm digging having 2 2nds.

Do they run the show? Assistant can advise, but the boss is going to do whatever the boss wants to do. It's not like they were co-GMs or anything. I've had several bosses who I really didn't like decisions that they made, but it wasn't my job to like what they do. My job was to help them accomplish what they wanted to do. I brought stuff to the table that made me valuable to them, but they were going to do what they wanted.
