  1. I'm trying to not look at picks on Twitter...but Jesus, "the pick is in" stays in for 10 minutes before they announce it.
  2. IF Winston stays on the straight and narrow and Donovan Smith improves his work ethic, helluva start for the Bucs there potentially.
  3. If teams 34-56 want to take all defensive players, I won't be mad.
  4. Unpopular opinon, BUT... Look at the WRs for NE and SEA last year. KB/Olsen is already better than anything they have (IMO). Throw in a healthy Cam (and hopefully JStew), a slightly upgraded OL, and steps are being made. Enough? Not yet. But, we're building like these teams. Again, if we don't go WR in the first 3 rounds...I'll join the pitchfork crowd. But 30 minutes after a pick? Meh.
  5. Grab Fisher/Strong/Smith (Devin or Preston) in the 2nd, then Duke/Hardy/Flowers in the 3rd and I'm stoked.
  6. He's a play-maker. What our defense needs and wants to be, so I'm excited. We'll see how the offense is addressed in rounds 2 and 3 though before making a full initial judgement
  7. I want to see what we do in Rd 2 before judging. And honestly I expect a trade up there. Grab the best OT or WR in a round 2 trade up (where we hopefully keep our 3rd)...grab a WR there, RB in the 4th...and let's go.
  8. Bad feeling that Humphries won't be there, and that we'll 'reach' for Shaq
  9. If they'd take our 5th, it would be tempting IMO.
  10. Not a huge Devin Smith fan, but I'd love this draft. Would rather grab a DE in the 2nd if Preston Smith is somehow still there, or maybe a RB if the value is still on the board, but overall I'd go into Saturday thinking back-to-back-to-back Kings of the South.
  11. Twitter rumor this morning that Gregory has some mental issues or something scaring teams away. Like, he's not even on a few teams boards AT ALL. I think he could slide a huge amount. Ray and Collins as well, but those three are known sliders at this point. I could see Melvin Gordon sliding into the middle of the 2nd, unless Dallas trades up for him at the end of the 1st or something. Landon Collins as well.
  12. All reports seem to say that Humphries is a great and teachable dude, just raw and needs fine tuning. Something we may consider since signing Oher/Martin may mean not rushing an OT to play (no matter how foolish it may turn out to be) Love the 2nd and 3rd picks. Give me this draft and I'd be thrilled
  13. I'd be cautiously optimistic with Gurley, but kinda scared. Don't want Ray or Gregory, since they're seemingly idiots. Also wouldn't be happy if we go LB. There's really no player I'm in love with right now or thinking we'll take. I was a little weary about KB last year, but figured we'd take him. This year, no clue where we'll go.
  14. Use both, though gas usually since I'm in and out in 10 minutes that way. And just since it's been mentioned...Rib-eye only if we're talking steaks.
  15. Peat, Preston Smith, and Justin Hardy please. Throw in a RB, take a couple shots at sleepers, and let's play
  16. I normally want to be conservative and think 9-7 to 10-6...but it's set up decently to have a big season again. Should we go 2-2 in the Week 6-9 stretch and don't drop a dumb game like say to the Skins or Titans. As of now, we'll lose 1 or 2 in the division, 2 in the hell stretch (Probably Seattle and GB), 1 WTF game to the Skins/Titans, and either the Giants, Cowboys, or Texans beat us.
  17. It's Week 1. First game (Pats/Steelers) is Thursday, Sept 10th
  18. Welp, we better fuging start 1-0.
  19. If it's a home game (we're due), division game. I'll say Atlanta. If it's on the road, @Seattle, for one of the prime time games.
  20. I was hoping we could just get 600-700 yards and 5-6 TDs out of KB. Welp, he hit a wall and damn near doubled the bar I had in my head for him. Holy poo.
  21. Leto recreated the Killing Joke version of the Joker on set the other day. Will be interesting to see if he's going that route, or just playing around on set.
  22. Man of the year winner, Rivera connection, great guy to mentor Norman/Bene/rookie...IF healthy, or even for just part of the season... His last fully healthy season (2 years ago)...3 INTs, 10 Forced Fumbles. TEN. Am I expecting that? No. But to expect him to come in, play average to decent ball at times and force some turnovers? I don't see why he couldn't.
  23. Worried he couldn't stay healthy, but would be one helluva vet addition to the young secondary, and overall great guy for the locker room.
