Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs

Recommended Posts

I'm a LBJ homer? Lol.

Please show the posts where I've indicated anything about what you wrote there.

Speaks volumes to me you are the only one here saying Kobe isn't cocky. Pretty sure a quick Google search would overwhelmingly have Kobe as arrogant/cocky.

You said what all of LBJ's fans say... you're just a hater/the hate is childish...

I've said it 1000 fuging times... I don't hate LBJ.

His attitude is poor (disrespecting MJ, making fun of Dirk, his complaining is over the top (stating he doesn't get calls), he comes of cocky (the announcement, all the celebrations after shots), etc...

That doesn't mean I don't think he's a good player... yet apparently I'm childish... makes sense I guess.

What I do hate is the Heat as a team and that's because they are a division rival and everyone else likes them.

Well MJ is our owner, so obviously I'm going to like him.

I don't like Kobe and I can't stand the Lakers, especially when we play them at home and all the bandwagon fans came out.

Side note... Hersey Hawkins is a stud and a super cool dude.

I played basketball with his son back in the days at Charlotte Christian before he got the notice that he was allowed to move up and play JV ball.

I like MJ too, and would never argue that he's not the greatest of all time. I just wonder if he was playing today in the twitter age, if he would be dissected as much as LeBron. People already hate LeBron, even though he has never done anything bad off the court, but imagine the reaction if he would have punched out a teammate or had to go on trial for rape after cheating on his wife?

Of course, there was a time that Michael was called a selfish ballhog, and would never be a team player like Larry bird, but time and championships fade those memories.

Being cocky is good for basketball players, its about having the self confidence that you can do whatever it takes to win.  Its not about disrespecting others, but it comes off that way to people.

When Kobe said the 2012 olympic team could beat the '92 dream team, it sounded cocky and hell and some people might consider it disrespectful.  But thats just the way Kobe thinks, and part of what makes him great.

Btw, if you guys are going to quote me... do it correctly.

I said Kobe was all-business, not business-like.

All business means that he was all about the game and he never tried to be bigger than the game, it was all about winning.

Then you have LBJ prancing around doing Cam Newton's celebration... I mean come on.

If all Kobe cared about is winning he would have made it work with Shaq. As opposed to running him out of town so he could be "the man". All Kobe cares about is being better than Jordan. He never gave a poo about anything else.

Now as to the topic at hand Lebron does flop and bitch way too much for my taste. However, it doesn't remotely make him a terrible person. Which is how a lot of people want him portrayed.

Okay, "bro" you're further proving my point. Why don't you go make something of yourself instead of 'appreciating greatness.' I'm not even a Jordan fan but I can realize that he is better than LeBron. You have some kind of fantasy about him that I just can't quite understand. Either you're gay or it's just one of those gay fantasies that most boys your age have. I know those hormones are raging at 12 years old.

edit: don't know if I can get banned for saying that

it's blatantly obvious you're just a troll, no one can be so ignorant and blindly hateful

how's LeBron nuts taste? sorry but there is no greatness on display. He stagnated the Heat offense and jacked up bad shots with no offensive movement. Those jumpers were nothing but luck buddy, even LeBron riders like yourself have to know he isn't a consistent jumpshooter. won't happen again in the series. Heat got away with isolation basketball this time, but if the Spurs hit there FTs the Heat still don't win, even with all that "greatness".

he even choked on one of the last free throws himself. There wasn't any greatness on display, it was paint player getting hot from the outside. That's his one for the series.

Those jumpers were hours of hard work paying off. You're a hater. Go somewhere I've never seen you on this board, you just came over here to hate go somewhere, your a falcons fan on top of that your opinion is worthless

He won two Ships without Shaq...

It's not like he stopped winning when Shaq was gone.... Shaq was just replaced with the twin towers.

Yeah, I don't see how Kobe and Jordan were never cocky. Anybody who watched them play knew they were Grade-A cocky, jerks but that's because society places them on a pedestal.

anything negative about Jordan is glanced over because he pretty much is immortal because he was Nike's main man in building their empire his immortality through that just brushes over anything negative about him

“All the people that were rooting for me to fail… at the end of the day, tomorrow they have to wake up and have the same life that (they had) before they woke up today,” James said. “They got the same personal problems they had today. And I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things I want to do.”

.

This he made statement is 100% true...

Chris Bosh.... looks like a dinosaur and acts a little homosexual sometimes but he'd be a great fit as a stretch four in our offense.

It's a shame he wants to re-sign with Miami.

Haha made an entire thread about we should sign bosh a few months back... got completely bashed on for it.... but I guess things change...

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
