Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs

Recommended Posts

Tim Duncan has more NBA finals MVPs then those guys have championships....combined . I'd even say the gap between Duncan and them Is greater than the gap between MJ and LeBron.

Because thats the end all be all of a player. Bob Pettit played almost his entire career during the Celtics Dynasty and managed to steal one from them.

Trent Dilfer>>>Marino

It's not the end all be all, but it has to have some merit when you are talking about the best of the best. Go ahead and give me an argument about why those guys are better though, I'd love to hear it.

Spurs I think were the only team who would've beaten miami. They probably won't be back next year, at least duncan, so I'm not sure why there's a need for a complete rebuild. & also i still do think LeBron's best roster to join would be cleveland

Can you dunk?

yessir, [EDIT I can't do fancy stuff though just simple one handers..] All hate aside, I just had the greatest moment of my life happen today. I had 23 points, I stole a pass and got an and 1 with 7 seconds left in the overtime to win it in overtime vs. Montwood high school in our summer league. I'm so damn happy right now.

Bob Pettit Elvin hayes. Karl Malone. The 3 reasons tim duncan is not the clearcut best PF of all time. Not to say he doesn't have a great argument but.... Bob Pettit

Didn't say they were. So don't put words in my mouth. Pettit was one of the most dominating PFs ever. Averaging 27/16 for his career and dropping 50 to stun the Boston Dynasty in game 6 of the 58 finals.

Karl Malone i think Duncan is a bit better. Poor Karl though. MJ just wouldn't let him and Stockton cash in. Wasn't like they played bad either.

Elvin Hayes was honestly retarded to watch play.

Again I didn't say Timmy wasn't the best. I put him 2 behind Pettit cause i'm a (st. louis lol) Hawks homer. I just think it's a bit much to say any one is the clear cut best unless it's blatantly obvious.

Between those 4 though. Damn.

    • Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .
    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
