4-5-1? Look, I know CR7 is a force of nature but he's less than 100%. If you play not to lose, there's a chance you'll lose. Come on, son.

The 4-5-1 has been the bread and butter of the U.S.

With a weak back line a 4-5-1 is the way to play.

Portugal still has the best player in the world and five starters that played in the Champions League and personally, I think you're severely underrating Portugal. Sure they have some injuries but I'd expect them to come out fighting for their lives rather than looking like a defeated team.

The goal is to hold off the initial attack for the 20 minutes.

This! I cant remember the last time we didnt run a 4-5-1, we ran it last game, so does that mean we run for a draw each match? We need defense for this game

Ugh... so far we're not playing like we can and looked too scared of CR7.

 

 

 

This was the worst thing we could do this game, go down a goal early to a silly mistake. Hopefully, Klinnsman has put it in their backbone to bounce back from it. WE need a score before halftime to stay in this to win.
