So we all agree Hendo can't be on the roster this year?

Henderson is a loyal player who played with some of the shittiest teams in NBA history and was the only bright spot. He never complained or demanded a trade. Now he has become the most hated player on the team why? I agree as much as the next guy that he deserves to be in a lesser role. However, would you rather of had Gary Neal or Ben Gordon starting last year? If so, we would not of made the playoffs.

This is a business. If you value loyalty above all else, go get yourself a dog. Besides, Henderson isn't a special player. What leverage would he have had to ever demand a trade?

I value loyalty, not above "all else" but I do value it. I think if someone came along willing to take his contract of our hands I'd do it as long as we had a guy like Lance Stephenson who would be the starter anyways.

I want clear something up. I'm not defending keeping him. I'd like to trade his 6 million a year contract. However, I don't understand all the hate he gets. He may get more playing time then he deserves, but that is because of the lack of options behind him. It's not his fault. He has done nothing to orchestrate the hate he gets. Same with McRoberts.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
