Gordon Hayward to visit Hornets next week.

See.. you're confusing yourself again.  (I'm beginning to think you're not extremely bright... but your grammar speaks for itself.)

The only STATISTIC you've mentioned in your quest to prove that PJ is better than Henderson is PPG.  You follow that up by saying you're a great evaluator of players.  See the disconnect between what you've claimed to be and the evidence you've shown?  Only once I call you out on it do you throw the "Try skills, physical gifts (isn't that redundant?), production, etc, etc." in... OK, well where is that on a stat sheet?  Gerald has proven in the NBA that he can score, rebound, defend, etc ... and the best part is, it all shows up on stat sheets as tangible evidence!

PJ, on the other hand... hasn't played a single game in the NBA.  So, you are claiming that it is a "fact" that PJ will start over Gerald because he's a better player.  If it's a fact, it requires evidence to be proven as a fact.  See my point?  This is why I think you're struggling with the literal definition of the word "fact."  Also, how can it be a fact when it's actually a prediction?  It very well might come true, but until it does, it's not a "fact."

Hope that helped.

You are the one that is confused. You assume because I only mention one thing I am incapable of mentioning other things. Which as you pointed out, I already mentioned the reasons why PJ is better (basketball skills, physical tools, production) Now I could break those down further, but you are merely retarded or have an unwavering bias here.

Let me clarify, it is not a fact PJ will start over Hendo as plenty of coaches do not start the better player for what ever reason. I deal with this regularly as a UNC fan.  The only fact is PJ is a better basketball player than Hendo and should be starting by midseason assuming he is getting adequate minutes. Skills, athleticism, IQ, physical tools, production are all easily visible to the trained eye. As such we do not have to wonder who is the better player in regard to PJ and Hendo.

Hope that helped.

Unless PJ proves he can defend, he isn't going to start over Hendo and he isn't going to get the minutes he wants.

Same as when he was at UNC. He didn't play because he wasn't good on defense and didn't give consistent effort

He didnt play because Roy favors upperclassmen.

When has big Al ever defended btw?

So Al was a poor defender his entire career and suddenly comes to Charlotte a changed man?

Man the bias and blinders are strong here lol.

Seriously, go back and rewatch some games. The only weakness he had last year was on the high pick and roll. Which a slow big man will never be able to improve upon.

And you also shouldn't speak about bias and blinders considering you said PJ is already better than Hendo.

Al has been a solid post defender through out most of his career.  His problems were mostly with foot quickness defending the screen game.  Clifford does a few different things on screen defense that have helped Big Al.  I'd agree that he was for the most part solid on defense this past season.

http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/cha/charlotte-hornets - 4th in fewest points allowed per game. Jefferson was a big part of that.

Steve Clifford changed his defensive abilities and made him an actual good defender.

It was because he couldn't defend. When we played Miami before they switched PJ to the 4, no matter who he was defending they ran pick and roll with that player. I think PJ played less than 20 minutes that game because it was so bad.

A lot of it was lack of focus and a lot of it was lousy effort.

That is why he didn't play more.

    • I am gonna believe it wasn’t us if the 4th round pick price is accurate. We needed 225 points to get from 19 to their pick. 875 at 19 to 1100 at 14.  Our 2026 4th was valued at 56 points I think. A future 4th has less value. So that wasn’t close to enough.    It would have taken our third and our fourth. Comes within a point of even.    Now, moving to their spot in the second round we could have done but after Miami took Rodriguez why would we?
    • Yep,and Blake Miller have had more experiences than Freeling,Lions did not sigh a vet T like Walker,so they had to pick Miller.
    • I mean it's expected.  This is the NBA.  And they hate the Charlotte Hornets.  Flagg was also the guy "magically" given to the Mavs who lost Luca to the wildly popular Lakers.  Was always an uphill battle.  But the award is BS since it's not voted on before play-in starts. Kon probably lost because of the play-in as many people switched votes.  It was a regular season award, so this is some nonsense.  Kon also didn't have the luxury of taking 10 games off to rest up injuries like Flagg did.  If he did, he wouldn't have been nursing his back the last month.  I mean, screw him for being on an actual playoff team that matters.  Flagg took tons of shots a game, he was wildly inefficient.  Kon was a huge reason the Hornets made the play-in and turned the season around after Jan.   I think Flagg will probably be the better player long term, or at least the most impact.  But Kon should have won ROTY.
