I would absolutely love to sign Lance if the market keeps going like this. 

 

I think he ends up taking a 2 or 3 year deal to try and improve his value and land a monster deal in a few years.  Would he say no to 2 years/ $21 mil right now?

I just have the feeling we overpay for Lance over Dallas. I'd be really surprised if he returned to Indiana. But then again, like many have said: Lance and PJ together might be a nightmare.

Like we were overpaying for Hayward? I was concerned about it then, too.

If it came down to Hairston versus Stephenson as the one troubled player, then Hairston SHOULD lose out. Stephenson has proven he can play in NBA games against the best.

All a long I said I'd be surprised if this dude fetched more than $10.5 per.

He's a baller, that's for sure. However, his on court antics scared off a lot of teams and no one is willing to gamble that type of money on him.

Stephenson might be a little crazy, but he is a guy that can take you from 5-8 in East to 1-4 in the East.

Once you establish a winning tradition, then you can become more picky as demand to join your team will increase.

Hoping to sign a bunch of fugging boy scouts or no one at all will keep us right where we are.

With the rebranding and people giving you a 2nd chance I can see why they would pass on Lance. You don't want to turnoff your potential fan base bc people on your team is involved in wild ass behavior. It's better having a team people can identify with and root for. How do you explain to your kid why Lance is hooking up with tranny's on Twitter? I don't think it's wise to have this type of image when your wanting people to give you a second chance. Also, Coach Clifford is a no bs type of guy from what I can tell and the team comes first. Not sure how they would get along when Lance goes into his playground ball 1 on 1 game. If he was more consistent then I understand your case. The more and more I look at the guy, the less I want him on the team at this time for the money it would cost.
