Saints Fanbase Ranked #3 by Forbes

Why do you think you see pictures of a stadium full of people wearing bags when they played horrible? The fans were still there supporting the team even when they were horrible. Falcons can't even fill up their stadium before halftime in years they go 12-4. I remember the Georgia Dome offering free hot dogs to bribe people into being in their seats when game starts.

UUhh. Your stadium was not full when you were the bagheads. Get real. That stadium sold out in the early 90s and the late 00s.

In 2006 despite being a better team you were behind the falcons in attendance.

2007 when everyone knew we would suck? 3 spots ahead in attendance LOL. NO was a sb pick that offseason.

Just for the record i do think Saints fans are more loyal on average. The true ones anyway.

I just hope to one day see our stadium packed full of Panthers fans...not Cowboys, Steelers, or Redskins fans. I also hope the lower bowls are someday filled with people that actually care to be there. As a diehard Panthers fan I've gotta admit, our gameday fanbase is pretty pathetic.

Until I started posting here, I had never heard of this and still find it very strange. Why would you go to another teams game all the time in your teams jersey? I mean I understand if you want to see the occasional live football game so you go to the local teams game, but they have people with Panther season tickets doing this. A lot of times these people are at the Panthers game while their team plays at same time, why wouldn't you want to watch your own team play on TV at home or at a local sports bar with fans of same team? It makes sense if it's playoffs or SB and your team is eliminated, but otherwise, Just so strange!

It's actually pretty simple.  Charlotte is a huge melting pot of people.  Being the #2 banking city in America brings a lot of people down here from up North, and with them, their teams.  Other jobs have done the same, not to mention people flocking to the triangle area for jobs as well.  Less taxes, less cost of living, and a booming economy brought down tons of people.   I know some real estate agents and half their clients are from NY.  They inherit their parents' house and sell it for a good sum then buy a bigger and nicer house in NC for half the money as the one they sold.    That, combined with the fact that before the Panthers came around people in this area were Redskins and Steelers fans and still hang onto their old teams.

It's a catch-22, on one hand you want all Panthers fans there, but on the other if we weren't a melting pot there is a good change we wouldn't even have sports teams.   Our best bet is the children of those fans become Panthers fans from growing up here.  It'll take time.  Not having back to back winning seasons also hurts the growth.

    • Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .
    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
