I find it very interesting that Webb is even in the discussion.  I remember when we signed him everyone thought he was practice fodder and was only a placeholder for Cam until he returned to practice.  Instead he has really taken his opportunity and ran with it.  I remember him playing for Minnesota and struggling mightily.  He surely seems to have worked to improve himself and give him a chance to earn playing time either here or elsewhere.

 

Anderson will be our backup and I am fine with that.  But honestly if Webb had to come into a game I would be good with that as well.  I wonder if they will split him out at wide receiver, throw the ball to him behind the line and let him toss a pass to Newton down the field.  He could worth some gadget plays if he is declared active on game day.
