Really Cam? Donkey Kong Suh?

The Detroit Lions defensive tackle Donkeykong Suh has used up all his Cut-Me-Some-Slack cards from this cowboy's parlor game.

That's right the Donkey Kong Suh nickname has been around for years and years. It was even used before this newspaper used it in 2011. They ripped it off too. Cam Newton put little effort into mocking the media. His nickname wasn't even original. We deserve more! We deserve better. What is Cam going to do next....call Johnson Megatron! That too is so unoriginal. Yes everyone already calls Johnson Megatron. Which is clearly implying Calvin is evil incarnate and wants to kill every human on earth.

Quit mailing it in Cam. How dare you mention a recycled nickname that has been used since Nebraska. We need to see some effort

Oh no we get it.

Well no one has mentioned media outlets and fanbases have used it for years.....especially the media and fanbases reacting presently. Thought it should be mentioned. But I also haven't been on to read through the Suh threads and wasn't going to waste my time reading on a made up story

      Been here a while but rarely post and most of them are smartazz. Mostly lurk just so I can sound informed while hanging out drinking beer in my neighbors garage. Amusingly a Huddle level of knowledge kind of makes you a subject matter expert. Thanks for that.

      That’s similar as saying MVP Cam is the same as rookie Cam because his mechanics didn’t change. We’re talking about production.

      In 2025 Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young on 1 less pass attempt. Repeat that to yourself several times and let it sink in. I absolutely love it when people come on here and invoke Sam Darnold like some gotcha. Darnold is the physical prototype for what anyone needs in a franchise QB. All the physical tools. Few people thought he would put it all together on the mental side of the position. He used to make some of the worst decisions you would ever see. At times in the past he made up for that with absurd throws and athleticism. But make no mistake whatsoever no matter how you feel about our starting QB. Bryce Young is a completely opposite conundrum. He lacks virtually any and all physical tools and athleticism and his elite processing is really mediocre at best on a good day and horrific on a bad day. These are realities people should have already been addressing instead of quadrupling down in year four.
