He'll get a two to three year extension similar to what Stafford got. It will serve both parties as Cam will get a big guaranteed money contract (50 mil) and the Panthers will actually get more time to clear the cap and put some more talent around him.

If after that three year extension is up and we aren't where DG thinks we should be on offense then Cam will be let into FA. But that is the scenario that will happen IMO. I don't see cam taking a Kaepernick deal and I don't see the Panthers offering a contract reserved for the elite of the elite.

Byron Bell has started on the OL every season that Cam's been here....and every year Byron Bell is a glaring weakness on the OL....and every year finding a replacement for BB in FA or the draft is totally ignored. Other than last year, the OL has been terrible in pass protection. Anyone that thought that the OL would be fine with Chandler and Bell at OT and that the WRs would be upgraded by drafting a rookie and signing a few scrubs is delusional.

take your own advice and LEARN FOOTBALL.

Other than Castonzo, who is playing OL for Luck????

You better take my advice. ;)

As much as i try to rationalize the attitude of these fans towards Cam, that R word keeps popping back into my head. Especially when I look at the faces of those constantly faulting Cam for every and anything while making excuses for the team.

Cam needs to never make mistakes!!! That attitude is straight out of the we're superior, u're inferior handbook that drives racism. But let's not realize that.

Please point to the people who are making excuses for the team this year

Absolutely. Still bad technique, IQ, sailing passes, reading defense, decision maker, etc.

Plus, Cam has "one" way to throw the ball: bullet. He depends too much on his natural abilities rather than being a craftsman.

We can put all the blame on everyone else, but Cam has a lot more to do with the way we're playing too.

If you guys are satisfied with taking a QB with the no1 pick and probably paying him 130+ mil for this kind of performances then go ahead. I'm not.

Jake is still the best QB to ever put on a Panthers jersey.

I never knew you were this stupid

Like it, but that's a ton of guaranteed money. That's what going to kill us.

Rather give him long term if I was going to give that much (50mil).

Yep I'm the real racist

I can't even take you seriously sometimes because I'm not sure if you're trolling. How does our cap space and not putting weapons around Cam have anything to do with the color of his skin? You're making yourself look like a fool. Not trying to be rude but c'mon man cut the poo.

How many times did Jake make the pro bowl? He must've at least made it the first three years he was in the league for you to make such a ridiculous post.
