What happens if one of our tackles get injured?

I can't believe we haven't at least added an OT to the practice squad. Our starters suck and our depth behind them is virtually nonexistent. We have to be the only team in the NFL, possibly NFL history, that doesn't have a single drafted OT on their roster.

Bell, Chandler, Williams, and Foucault were all undrafted free agents.

We did (Mcdonald) but Seattle signed him to their 53.

I honestly don't know that I have ever seen a bigger managerial failure by an organization than the state of our OT situation.

Not only was it bad that they were content to risk the fate of the season on a pair of players who haven't played well, it's amplified by the fact that they didnt even feel the need to provide dependable bodies behind them in the likely scenario they were not any good or missed some time to injury.

At this point I can't help but wonder if the refusal to sign a FA OT desite the dire need for one is Gettleman being stubborn or an honest fear by the organization that anybody brought in would force their way onto the field over everybody's favorite hard working get rowdy chant left hander.

Pretty much this. I wish we would reward guys for playing well instead of being a good ol guy.
