Cam and Russell pressure stats this season: the raw numbers

None of this really matters because the line is different this weekend.

With that being said, all of our running backs would be healthy and successful if the line were as effective as all of you are saying.

Hope Norwell and Velasco thrive in their new starting spots. Go Panthers! I'll see you in the nosebleed Sunday.

No it isn't. I'm just wondering what made you feel that way. Like factual reasons.

I just don't like his movement in the pocket. Tom Brady had a bad ol this year but he still able to find receivers and get rid of the ball. Or maybe it's not him maybe it's the coordinator for all I know

Lol so this is about bashing Cam and not about why you are a huge believer in DA? Figured.

Almost no one on this forum will admit it, but Carolina's offensive line has been average in pass protection. There are quite a number of teams with worse pass blocking. My God, have none of you seen a Jags game this year, for instance???

In terms of run-blocking, the Panthers are definitely below average, but since the running backs have been so banged up it is really hard to judge where they actually stand.

Gettleman has put together a serviceable offensive line while spending very, very little money.

Many people will never admit that this O-line is not the dumpster fire so many claim it to be...

It's too easy of a scapegoat.

There is no way I would call them average. Nearly every media pundit agrees they are in the bottom 5 OLs in the league this year. The only reason they are ranked 15th in pass protection is bc of sack %. That largely falls on Cam's ability to stay upright. But he has no time to step into throws which is a big reason we have no big plays to Wrs this year. Just no time for them to get downfield.

*looks through the thread* .....part of me wants to see DA start for the whole season just to show certain fans how foolish that is... Just like the Washington fans who thought Kirk Cousins was this "unsung, traditional QB champion" who was going to save them from running QB RG3....
