yes i know this isnt a football related question, but there may be one at the end. my anniversary is august 27 and i planned on taking my wife to charlotte for the weekend. i dont know much about the area. can anyone suggest any really nice steak houses to go to or activities for the weekend? Greatly appreciated.

I would just book a room downtown and have a look around. There is lots of nice resturants. Regarding a steak house...I cant think of one that is downtown.

ive always liked cheesecake factory, and melting pot, atleast those are my gfs fav places to go. really depends on how much you wana spend

And Sullivan's is a 5 min cab ride down South Blvd. Heck the light rail may even have a stop right by it.

Ruths is downtown... We were there for Keith Urban last year and had a good time just walking around downtown...

Flemmings at the Epicentre is supposed to be good. Cap Grile and ruth's Chris are both downtown. Sullivans is what I would reccommend and is in the South End/Dilworth area on South Blvd.

Grove Park Inn in Asheville is nice. Good golf course, spa, and views at the resort plus there are great restaurants in Asheville.

If you book at the GPI, make sure to ask for a refurbished room.
