I am going to make a pitch to the Animal Planet to film me getting swallowed by one of those whale sharks to go up against this Discovery channel show. Going to tie a rope around my ankle so someone can pull me back out. Anyone want in on this before I become filthy rich?

I read that animal rights groups were protesting this. The guy says no I'm a snake lover. But in order to get him out they'll have to cut him out, which would kill the snake. It's a prank I bet.

It could kill or at least do some damage to the snake even without cutting him out. It's too big a meal, especially with the suit. The snake won't even do it willingly unless it's tricked/forced. Article says they pull him out with a cord attached to the suit and that the snake lived. But that too would really hurt the snake.

Stupid.

According to EW, Rosolie will be covered in pig's blood to make the snake hungry. His special suit has a cord on top of it, so he will presumably be pulled back out of the snake's mouth once it ingests him.

 

they also said that they snake was not killed during the stunt.  I still agree with everyone here that it seems like a pointless, 'look at me' thing to do.
