2014-2015 NFCS CHAMPS

the best thing that will come out of tonight is some dumb, desperate team somewhere getting reamed out trading for mark sanchez in the offseason

Houston didn't game planned for Sanchez last weekend.

It's a different story when a DC get a full week+ to prepare for him. I feel sorry for Sanchez tonight.

Same poo with Kirk Cousins. Cousins always looked great coming in during games, but not when DCs game planned for him ahead of time.

We might even see Matt Barkley to finish the game tonight. Watch.

I usually love the optimism, but...

1. The Saints have the easiest 4th quarter schedule is football

2. Their second half schedule is only 1-win tougher than ours

3. They have 4 more home games left

See attached file

I think that it's possible for us to catch them and MAYBE tie it back up over the next couple of weeks, but I predict that they win the division by 2 games. Them 9-7, us 7-8-1.

True, but that's why stats tend to be wrong at times. It doesn't tell you that 3 out of the 4 gms are against division opponents. CAR, TB, and ATL will give NO plenty of trouble.

There's no place for unbridled enthusiasm here. We suck. I keep wanting to believe that our defense will get their poo together and our offense will finally explode on our opponents BUT the reality is we're probably going to win just 5 games this season.

Our defense is back. They were back vs. NO until Shula and our offense kept playing like poo.

The only one of those three games that is away is Tampa. We beat Tampa away....with Derek Anderson.

New Orleans' remaining schedule is gruesome. And, no way we'll lose to them twice.

I'm ever the optimist too, but the Saints should be feeling very good about their remaining schedule. They just lost at home, which they have every right to believe won't happen again this season (based on recent history), and their away games are Steelers, Bucs, & Falcons.

And as much as I hate to say it, yes there IS a way we lose to them twice, namely by letting them come to our stadium and spank us last week.

But I'll still be expecting a win in the Superdome for the Panthers, because that's how I roll.
