After watching him get mauled last weekend (and all season), I have to say this guy is one of the physically toughest players in football. I was actually cringing watching him get beat like an old rug. I can understand his disdain for this offense and it shows on his face. He never kicks anyone to the curb and always shoulders the blame. He has his flaws with mechanics and the like, but you can never question the mans toughness. It would be nice to see what he could really do with a decent offense, a competent OC, and decent coaching. Respect out to him for his guts and determination.

If I ever got the chance, I would buy Cam a damn beer.  Dude has had the offense torn down around him each year he's been in the league and he just keeps on trucking.  Give him the money he wants, give him protection, give him weapons, and most of all, give him a GOOD  OC/HC to work with him and watch him explode.

He is tough, top competitor. I know its a stubborn thing, but he is a warrior. He is tougher than a lot of players this board wants to replace him with.

 

He don't want to quit. Cam being our QB makes me love the panthers even more than I ever have. You ask any kid who knows the panthers and they want to play like cam, he is a good guy off the field as well. Props bud. Hope we can get some fast mother fuging winners to join you this offseason

      Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .

      Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.

      Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
