Stewart has been running so well lately that...

What if next season d will retires, and Stewart stays healthy and manages 1300+ yards behind our future rebuilt O line?

/dreaming

He is an older, often injured, super expensive RB. There is no trade value in that.

Jerry Jones loves his RBs too. He's dreaming of a DeMarco Murray, Adrian Peterson and Jonathan Stewart 3 headed monster backfield.

I bet he does love them....

Cowboys top 3 RB/FBs carry a combined 3.5ish cap hit this year

Ours carry 13.5 cap hit

Jerry figured it out. He started building an OL

I did not think he was playing well early this season, but it is blatantly obvious he is by far the best back we have right now. We're stuck with him for another two years, why no use him? He can easily be a poor man's Matt Forte if we use him right. I love DeAngelo but he isn't a primary back. He should be the change-of-pace guy, not the other way around. Same with Tolbert.

I was joking, making fun of Jones' comments this past offseason that he wanted to trade for Peterson.

Oh yeah I know he has no trade value, I was just fantasizing about him doing that for us next season

I see him going over 1500 next season when DeAngelo's gone, we have an improved line, and not Shula and Rivera at OC and HC. Gonna be the best fantasy sleeper in the league.
