Vaccaro wasn't even that good in college, why why would any one draft a nickle box safety hybrid in the first round is beyond me. He's way to slow to play safety and can't cover the speedy slot receivers

Like I said, as an offensive guy he's pretty strong.  Overall leader though?  Not so sure these days.

As sure as I am about John Fox. If you look at the Saints right now, its not the system its the players. Its clear Brees is a year or two from a Jake melt down or less and so much of Payton system depends on good QB play and timing. You cant tell me that if Payton was given someone like Newton he could not do great things. Maybe Im wrong but whatever is going wrong in NO its not with the system.
