Sometimes I feel a lot of you don't understand how basic concepts operate. If every team in the league gets 3 million extra in cap space, it's doesn't help us at all.

Rather, it raises the price of current FAs and makes it more difficult to resign our own players (DUE to inflated player value)

Extend CJ and Cam.  Cut DWill as a June 1 and restructure a couple guys like Olsen and Kalil we could have a better cap situation than last year?  Or am I going full tard?

Extending CJ would be the worst possible idea this franchise could make. Pushing forward more of that dead money forward is a horrible idea, and cutting our loses with him now is probably the best way to go.

This has been the projected range for quite some time, this is nothing new. From what I've seen, after paying rookies, money for IR, and everything else, the Panthers should have about $9 million in cap space, with about 10 roster spots to fill. So yeah, it's another year of bargain basement free agent signings unfortunately. 2016 is when a huge amount of money opens up.
