They aren't trading Kemba.

And I dont blame them... If he had some fuging players around him and a coach that isn't a dumbass, he'd look like an all-nba'er.

That's not to say he doesn't have his flaws, but he certainly isn't the problem.

Lance, Marvin, Hendo... They need to get the hell out.

Yeah. All NBA players have some "flaws"

Kemba ain't all NBA. He might be the 15th best PG by offense in the NBA and the 25th by defense.

He had a great game yesterday shooting the ball. But his guy got the points in OT and Kemba still finished -6 for the game.

You make some good points chuck, but I disagree on several of them... Kemba was better than Conley tonight. What was the difference? You said Paul and Collison know how to run an offense, but look at what they're working with. Same can be said for Conley tonight. He didn't have a better night than Kemba, but his team won. Why?

He has Z-Bo, Gasol, Courteney Lee, Prince, and guys like Poindexter and Carter coming off the bench to drop buckets like they never left.

Look at Paul and Collison's supporting casts - Griffin, Jordan, Reddick, Barnes, Crawford, lol... Collison has Cousins, Stauskas, Gay. All those guys on each team are better than anything Kemba has. We are built for defense and again, we don't have any guys that can finish. AL and PJ are the closest things and AL is one dimensional, he generally doesn't finish a play from others, he has to hold the ball in the post and dominate the ball himself. And PJ can't get off the bench because Clifford is a fuging idiot.

But what I agree with you on, sadly, is that as much as I love and pull for Kemba, unless we end up getting a lineup similar to what the Clippers have, then any moves we make will keep us in the 3 to 6 range at best.

But, CP3 is the Peyton Manning of the NBA. He's gonna be great no matter where he is and who he has.

I don't even want to start comparing each PG's supporting casts. I mean Big Al, Zeller, Hendo, Neal, Marvin, and Lance are just as good what is in SAC. It's not all about the supporting cast; look at NYK. You gotta have a decision maker at PG, the right players, system and coaching.

Michael Carter Williams is 3x the PG Kemba is and look at the guys around him. He has no one.

Our problem is that Big Al is the only offensive weapon we have. Kemba doesn't have the ball in his hands long enough to where he will make decisions/set up players for opportunity. He plays hot potato with the ball, let someone else do the decision making, someone pass him the ball back and then shoot it like a SG. He's a poor man Monta Ellis.

Kemba is in the tier of: Conley, Hill, Thomas, Jennings and Chalmers.

Al single handedly put this team in the playoffs last year.

The bigger issue is the lack of shooters around him.

That was LAST year.  There are so many problems with Al, and I'm about to list some just to name a few.  First off as we know he is a complete liability on defense, I mean he literally doesn't even move.  Can't rebound either, again he's not good at moving.  He's a complete liability in two HUGE aspects of the game.  He operates out of the mid-post and this clogs the strong side, which limits movement on offense (which is GLARING at the moment).  He freezes ball movement because he's always posting and then re-posting and takes FOREVER to try to put a move towards the hoop.  Average but not great passer, often times takes too long to notice double teams.  He is so one-dimensional in the sense that he has no left hand, I've seen a few times he could put up a basic left-handed layup and they are shunted in favor fancy right handed layups because he just doesn't have a left hand.  He's slo slow that he's really not that good of a screener.  When a center has good length and doesn't bite on fakes he's EASILY shut down.

I love the guy and he's a good player but he's not some star like our fans think he is.  Building block of the future? Hahahaha, if you build around Al fuging Jefferson you're never gonna have a good basketball team.  There are so many flaws in his game.

For some stats I love stats Al ranks 305th in the NBA in defensive plus-minus (305th!!!!!) OH MY GOD THAT IS TERRIBLE.  That's okay right because his offense plus-minus is definitely way higher, right???? NOPE  IT'S JUST AS BAD!!!!! It's 273rd.  But please please remain close-minded that our precious Al isn't becoming a liability.

^ I'm not reading all of that because you're right, that is last year, and the players around him who were on the team last year have improved drastically as PF49 pointed out. Heck Gerald Henderson was getting buckets down the stretch and as inconsistent game to game as Gary is he was picking his spots beautifully last night. Kemba had the 48 million dollar game we were looking for.

Al is the same player he has always been. The difference: Lance Stephenson and Marvin Williams make this team worse.

If you want to shoot for one of the several lottery centers, certainly blow the team up with Al as the prize. But to suggest Al is the reason we are losing is just wrong.

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
