Hornets Nets and OKC in three way trade talks

The salaries dont match up at all. There will have to be some other pieces involved. OKC would have to throw someone like Perry Jones into the mix.

Salaries don't have to match as long as the teams have the cap room to absorb the salaries, right?

That said, give me Perry Jones.

Keep lance before you trade for a decent backup PG & a streaky young SG who hasn't proved much except he's inconsistent

It's easier to wait on the young SG when he's on his rookie deal as opposed to a guy you signed for 9 million over 2 years with a team option who was supposed to be one of your centerpieces.

I'll take my chances over a guy that dribbles out the shot clock and has proven to be a bad teammate here. He can have all the potential in the world, but it is obvious he doesn't fit in Charlotte. We already know that Lamb and Kemba have chemistry. Jack is a solid vet. It's not "out of this world" good, but it could be much much worse.

we may as well just flip him for draft picks

If he was Pacer Lance we might be able to do that, but you have to look at this deal through the context of Lance's value being just about as low as it can get. The fact that we play better when he doesn't see the floor doesn't help matters.

Teams aren't going to give up picks to take that. Billy King might, but he has practically none left to trade.
