TheNewStandard, I appreciate you being a Panthers fan, just try to keep an open mind so you can see these players for who they are. Don't underestimate CJ's value. We certainly gave him too much money...but don't think he wasn't worth most of it. CJ is a complete end against the pass and the run. Not too many of those guys around.

I appreciate the kind words brother; growing up, being a coach was one of my aspirations, just decided to follow other passions.

 

I am just a fanatic of the game in the most literal sense. 

 

Loved playing the game growing up, been a Panthers fan since they started when I was just a little guy growing up in Missouri (Mom's side of the family tied me to NC), and have enjoyed the ups and downs of our history.

 

I enjoyed going to Rams games when I was a kid near St. Louis, however I was too young to really pay much attention; but when the Panthers came along it...I was excited to claim them as my own.

 

I'm sure a lot of you guys have stories that go in a similar way.
