Haven't been keeping up, but we got Toby Alderweireld and Kevin Wimmer, which should boost our defense a bit. This, plus the signings of Yedlin and Alli in the January market window will make it interesting to see how we shape up on the back half.

We offloaded Paulinho, Capoue, and Kaboul so far. All of which I'm ok with losing. If only we could get that nutcase Ade off the books too, and maybe even Soldudo along with him, while bringing in two other proven EPL strikers, I'd be a very happy Spurs fan.

Lose Pendado and you guys will be in really good shape. I hate to admit it, but you're my Top 4 dark horse this year.

woah, if they would have gotten this done a week earlier they never would have bought sterling because they would have secured their english player.

I said they will sign 1-2 more English players.  They need at least 3 English players.  Delph for £8m is nothing for City.  Arsenal paid way more to get Chambers in.

Tony Barrett reported City's desire to sign Sterling had nothing to do with English quota. They wanted him regardless.

You don't pay £50 million for a player just because he is English. Regardless of the homegrown quota (which doesn't work the way most people seem to think it does) City were interested in Sterling and wanted to sign him. Being English was just a bonus.
