NBA Trade Deadline Thread

This seems to be a sellers market.

Denver is racking up assets.

I am beginning to think that there is no way we are able to make a deal.

Just not willing to part with our decent assets for marginal pieces.

I did want Cho to make a move, but now I would just rather stand pat.  Maybe try to sell if someone called.

Not good for us.

Very true. If that happens it pretty much means we will finish 8th or lower in the east. Meaning it wouldn't be smart not to do a trade that only slightly helps us the rest of this season because we will probably not catch Miami or the Bucks.

Yeah, with that Miami trade, we have to do the Nets deal for Joe Johnson so long as they don't require a pick back.

I dont think we will.  I would support it, but i just don't see it happening.

I think we stand pat...

I believe they are thinking we will be in the race, and if we don't make the playoffs then we will be in the lottery.

If we fall out, then we can go into semi-tank mode and hope to get lucky.

    • They do. if Andy isn’t totally washed and if the OL can pass block.  We have the running game, and with Andy we have the play action and ability to stretch the field. I have been missing that so much. These are kind of big ifs.
    • Honestly think Panthers have a real chance in this game. Remember, Dalton is good for a game or two. Anything more than that and we're in trouble. If Carolina's run defense continues to dominate, I don't think Josh will light us up. Honestly think they'll hold Cook under 75 rushing and Keon under 50 receiving. Do that and we're good. Now Kincaid will likely have a good game. But choose your battles.
    • A win postpones the slide back to below .500, if I were to place a bet on the near future.    I am sorry but what I would love to see in coming weeks is a flash in the pan QB come from somewhere. Entertainment value will be high if there is some Bryce competition. Doesn’t look likely, just sayin.
