I still don't know why Cliff doesn't just play Biz With Al. Maxiell doesn't offer any spacing at the 4 and Al can at least hit open 15 to 20 foot jumpers. There would at least be some rim protection in the middle. If we miss the playoffs and don't fire Clifford what is the point of even caring about the draft. It's not like the prospect we get will even see the floor next year.

That's why I said "onto the NFL Draft," lol...

I'm done with Clifford. He will NOT give a rookie his deserved minutes, no matter how good they are.

I've thought the same thing about playing biz and al together... And the thing with maxiell... We've got a rookie on the bench that is already better than him and provides spacing as a big, but he won't see the light of day...

That's not how tanking works. If he actually wanted to tank the season al would be shut down for the year and we would see the bench players extensively.

Clifford hasnt given up, its just the rotations he keeps using don't work

Honestly I don't know about that. Jefferson is doing a pretty good job of leading us to L's.

I'm pretty much in for losing out. I despise this team (aside from MKG) and losing is the only chance we have at change.

Go look at the roster of that Andrew Bynum Philly team that Hinkie decimated and the similarities to this one are striking. You can understand why Philly fans are so adamant about the tank.

We have a nice young piece (MKG) and good flexibility after next season. I'm not really, sure what I want us to do, I just know I never want to watch Jefferson and Marvin play basketball again.

I'd be fine with Marvin hanging around next year if it meant Henderson and Jefferson never start another game in Charlotte.

Marvin would be a great backup for MKG. He has good size (as a SF) and he's one of the few decent 3 pt shooters we have. Can't really blame Marvin that he's being forced to play PF. He's too small to play inside. Yeah, he sucks at PF, but if they let him play his actual position he'd be a fine bench player.

I posted this sentiment in another thread yesterday. I'm starting think he legitimately wants out of Charlotte. IMO, I think Clifford was against the Stephenson signing and Vonleh selection.

Either that or he went from a good coach to brain dead in one season.

It may be a little bit of both at this point.

If he wasn't on board with either Stephenson or Vonleh though it would make no sense to force them on him. I've been critical of him, but I don't really believe that he had no say at all in the matter. He's a decent coach, but he has his flaws, and they are pretty clear.

If he goes, Cho should be evaluated right along with him though.

Unfortunately it looks like it will be some time before this franchise finally establishes some long term stability.

    • He talks way too much about his time in Seattle and Russell Wilson and how they built that team in 2012.   I won’t fall for any of it until I see them play for a year
    • Lol people like you are so silly and the only reason I seem to care to log on to post these days. How can you sit there and say Bryce was the reason Williams hurt his knee on that play. Maybe it's because you dislike Bryce so you are somewhat blind as to what actually happened? Not quite sure but maybe you should get your eyes checked. Williams hurt himself by trying to make a cut after spinning around to make that catch. Pause it at 3:24. Had he landed and ran like normal instead of going to plant his foot in the ground and make a cut he doesn't get hurt. Don't put that on Bryce. That was 100% Williams fault he got injured
