Disney buys Marvel

I wonder how much they will get involved with Marvel or treat it more as just it's own entity.

Hell yes! Hopefully they don't go all Sleeping Beauty on Marvel characters though.

They created an entire movie studio just so they could release R rated movies under a name other than Disney. If Micheal Eisner was still calling the shots, I'd be worried. The brain trust they have now seems to know when to leave well enough alone.

Plus, Marvel has cornered a market that Disney has historically failed at selling to (12 to 25 year old males). They didn't buy them so they could screw up a proven formula.

I hear ya. Disney fan that I am, I would be incredibly pissed if Deadpool: Merc With a Mouth suddenly became a story about fighting gingivitas.
