If you are ever in Tampa, perhaps for the Bucs game this year, be sure to pick up some micro brews from Cigar City Brewing.

 

The brewery was paid for by Joe Redner, the strip club mogul of Tampa Bay. He is a bit of a celebrity down there. You may have heard of Mons Venus (where I spent my 18th birthday).. he owns it.

 

 

His son, Joey, runs the brewery

Anyways, you really can't go wrong with any of the beers.

Yep thats it. You can also buy the beer in cans at most local 7-11s

They do make some good beer. I think I saw theirIPA on a recent Top 100 list.

I went to Cigar City (close to the airport) when I was in Tampa for the game last year. They've got some other good ones. Wish we could get them distributed in NC.

Went to my beer store after work today and saw this and was confused.

It says Cigar City Brewing but it's by New Belgium?

Gotta be a collabo with the 2 breweries. Lips of Faith series by New Belgium is some limited release stuff.
