Ah, the ever turbulent world of Greg Hardy...

Seems the Cowboys are trying to find a polite way of telling him to shut up.

Garrett to Hardy: Distinguish yourself with how you play, not what you say

In response, Hardy's Twitter (now going by 'The Villain King') has messages on it like "last fan chance" and "goodbye forever", but remains open.

Makes me wonder if he actually plans to shut it down or if he's just fishing for fans to beg him to keep it.

Something tells me it's the latter.

Wait, what?

Greg Hardy is a goddam idiot?

Alert the media!

Eventually I'll look up my post from before the domestic violence even happened where I predicted if he ever went to another team he would fall apart personally and on the field. Rivera kept him together.

I'd agree the 'train wreck' potential was always there.

Meanwhile, down in Jaguar Land...

Justin Blackmon denied reinstatement to the NFL

Mike Dempsey @md_1010xl

Confirmed via @APMarkLong that Justin Blackmon DID apply for reinstatement and was denied.

As @APMarkLongput it, "the feeling in the building is that JB failed another test" but could be a missed test that counts as a failed test

There's been quite a few rookie camp injuries (that I can't link to weirdly):

Jags - Fowler, ACL out for season

Broncos - 3rd Rd TE, Heuerman, ACL out for season

Ravens - CB Wilson, broke leg season ending surgery

And of course Shaq and his hamstring but that's minor and should be 100% before he comes back to the field.

Sure hate it for those kids who's season is already over.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
