Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn announced in separate releases Sunday that they have ended their relationship of nearly three years.

The golfer and Olympic skier attended the Masters together, where Vonn accompanied Woods' two children during the pre-tournament Par 3 Contest.

Both called the breakup mutual.

"I will always cherish the memories that we've created together," said Vonn, an Olympic gold medalist who is the all-time wins leader in women's World Cup Alpine skiing. "Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family hold a special place in my heart."

Vonn made her announcement via Facebook on Sunday afternoon. A short time later, Woods posted a statement on his website.

"I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I'll always cherish our time together," Woods said. "She has been amazing with Sam [daughter] and Charlie [son] and my entire family. Unfortunately, we lead very hectic lives and are both competing in demanding sports. It's difficult to spend time together."

Woods went to Europe in January to witness Vonn break the World Cup victory record and also did so in February when she competed in Colorado. He is returning to golf this week at the Players Championship after a 17th-place tie at the Masters last month in just his third start of the year.

 

 

Lindsey is still killing it on the slopes and now that her season is over, they decide to break up? Hell, she's got time on her hands for a few months now.

Who releases a statement saying they've broken up with somebody? What's the point? That's society today though. "Look at me, I'm gay!" "Look at me, I'm transitioning", "Look at me, I'm single".

 

There is no modesty anymore. The only person I can think of amongst celebrities who has any integrity is Keanu Reeves. The guy has the 'it' factor and is regularly described as dreamy by even the hottest female celebs but you'll never know anything about his personal life since he he enjoys living it as opposed to acting it.

 

The irony is that all the camwhoring in the world can't beat a genuine mysteriousness of a person. By doing nothing at all Keanu is more interesting than all his contemporaries.

      Well bois, we gave the Devils their due! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... The jersey boys have been trying to jack our steeze for a few years now. They've followed our blueprints and studied our tape. Every offseason, they pounce on our sloppy seconds in a Newark minute. Quick with the puck, ferocious on the forecheck and stifling team defense. Down to the colors, this is this closest we'll come to having to play ourselves in Ole Stanley's Hockey Hoedown. As the postseason began, Rod stood flexing in the gym mirror and saw this guy staring back from the void... (Shutters) When beating us at our game didn't work, Timo and the Tri-State Trash tried to tango instead. Outside of a bitchass cheapshot on Freddie, that poo didn't work either. Their goon squad was getting wrecked by our bantam weights. As much as we all wanted to see Svechy or Staal Bunyan literally break someone in half after the Great Dane went down, they didnt need to. Our munchkins were monsters! Jarvis obliterating giants at the blue line, Logan laying the Stank on dudes twice his size and Blakers blasting Timo into next season. It was beautiful to see! (Side note: Does JBlo wear lead weights under his pads? 170lbs shouldn't be able to hit that hard!) We closed it out in 5, for the gentleman's sweep. Only team in the league to win a series in each of the past 7(?) seasons! And, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year... Onto the awards: Key To The Series : 6 for 19 - .316% IT FINALLY WORKED!!! MVP : 16/180 g/s - .911 save% - 2.53 gaa Seriously, without this dude, we would've won in 3!
