Nintendo already did that, its called a wii remote. For all the flack it got it truely did make fps less cumbersom.

Yup. I was chosing wii remote because it was more successful and playstation coppied it with the move. That glove you had ad to put in a passcode which varied from game to game. Some of the geastures to make characters move, jump, or shoot are face palm worthy.
