Here's a little preview of the talent that WWE is getting with these signings. I really hope they don't screw this up...this match is incredible.

Also, how about Undertaker vs Kevin Owens at WM? I hadn't considered this before a buddy of mine floated the idea. Seems like this would fit in well with KO's character, and would give him a much-needed massive push (assuming he wins, which he obviously should).

Anyone else thinking Reigns gets screwed and loses the belt at the Royal Rumble?

Is it just me or was the Royal Rumble awesome laat night?

Maybe when I watched I was still in the afterglow of the Panthers going to the Super Bowl but

Dean and Owens tore the house down... literally.  Just a great last man standing match

AJ Styles debuts in WWE.... and his entrance music is a DMX remix.

Owens selling his early match brutality like a pro when entering the Rumble

Sami Zayn makes surprise appearance in the Rumble and eliminates Owens

Sasha Banks coming back to TV with the second loudest pop of the night behind only AJ Styles and putting herself squarely in the Divas championship storyline.

Speaking of the divas, it is not a coincidence that they are getting the division over once all the focus has been on Charlotte, Becky, and Sasha.  Those girls are great

The NXT Takeover: Dallas card could very well steal Wrestlemania weekend. The card is ridiculous so far, including:

 

Spoiler

Asuka vs. Bayley

Balor vs. Samoa Joe

Nakamura vs. Zayn

 

In other news, the booking for the main event for the next WWE PPV is way too predictable. Reigns wins after Wyatt family interference costs Lesnar, setting up their respective Wrestlemania matches. I liked the Rumble PPV overall, but the way they treated Reigns in the match and the build to this Fastlane triple threat match has been so weak.

Oh, and the first match you listed for NXT Dallas should be the main event IMO.   Going to be awesome!!!

      I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.

      My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back “home” to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.

      In fairness, she is ensuring she is talked about.  People really aren’t going out there way to bring her up.  It’s some weird poo.  She would end up getting talked about given her actions if she was 40. Bill realizing some of these high end “companions” got a game of their own.  That’s what I don’t think Bill saw coming.
