Careful - at some point that was us. From what I know few defensive co ordinators have held against the panthers as well as Quinn . the guy is brilliant and he's right in our damn backyard : FACK lol

Did he bring Sherman, Thomas and Kam with him?

He trying to make chicken salad with chicken poo. I'm not worried.

Dan Quinn didn't develop that secondary, he inherited it from Gus Bradley and they were already really good. If he can build it in Atlanta, he doesn't have the parts right now. Godfrey is just a bad player and the other safety position is not that good either. Their whole secondary has a lot of question marks. You need really good personnel to do what the Seahawks do.

    • People apparently forgot that offseason. Stafford and wife met with McVay in Mexico the offseason he moved. McVay convinced him to leave. Stafford went to the Lions and had a very emotional meeting in which he said he wanted to leave. They obliged based on his time there and the compensation offered(which included Goff). It was a very amicable split. People in Detroit still revere him to this day. He has been open about his affinity for them, as well.
    • going from High school to the pros would be incredibly easy
    • Smitty was a 3rd rounder.  I’m not really saying draft one high at all, 3rd being higher than I have in mind for this year. I am completely with the people that say ‘enough’ high picks on “weapons for Bryce”. Enough of that. Don’t want a weapon drafted early, Yet Again.  For that matter I wish we weren’t forced to address LOT because I want linebackers and big guys. And OL depth in the mid to late rounds. Maybe some late insurance at RB. A QB if the right one is begging for us to snap him up.    But looking at the WR room and believing Moore is sort of redundant or maybe even not a great fit,  and then just recalling the numerous calls for a burner, I was only really saying what I think would be the best type of addition.
