Brenton Bersin continues to impress

Give me a base line of  how many examples do you need??

Devin Hester is another example of a perfect  4th  Wr...

So that's 2 examples..

I dont have a baseline.  You said you were going to look through the rosters, so I just wanted the overall results.  I want to know if other teams have much better WR4's and see whether or not Bersin is as bad of a WR4 as you think he is, or if most teams have WR4's that are comparable to Bersin in terms of talent/stats.

2 is definitely not enough because if only two teams have WR4's that are clearly better than Bersin, than we are on par with the rest of the league.  I want to see results that make me realize that Bersin is much worse than other WR4's around the league.

Well than you can do the research on that..  I'm not going thru other suck ass teams like the Raiders or Jags roster to find every team with a 4th Wr better  than  Bersin..  Just because he's better than other garbage doesnt mean he isn't ggarbage.. You know what I'm looking for in a 4th Wr and right now Bersin doesn't  fit that..  I'll look up 2 more examples and that's it..

Its also worth noting that Bersin probably wasnt gonna be in the top 4 WR's anyways.. So comparing him with WR5's might have been a little more relevant (Even though it was hard enough for you to compare him to WR4's).  A lot of people are thinking our top 4 could be KB, Funch, Brown, and Ginn.  Cotchery could be in that mix too.  And since you decided to name a couple of other guys that played punt returner as examples of what you want, we already have one in place with Ginn.. so its not that important that Bersin wont do that.

Doesn't change my opinion that I want my 5th Wr to either have special teams value, a young and up and coming developing starter or a specialist you can design plays for..

I thought it was understood I was looking for guys who fit my criteria for a 4th or 5th Wr's..  Not other jags like Bersin... My bad if it wasn't..

    • im a big believer in strong  o lines in general and really strong  olines for not so strong  QBs and we have one if those not so strong  QBs, plus with one LT done for the year and another that is aging with knee issues, a versatile tackle, on a rookie contract for the second most important position on the team, is a good thing    from cat crave Dean Jones    “If Francis Mauigoa (Miami) made it this far down the pecking order, it would be a difficult proposition to turn down.   The Miami prospect might not have the prototypical length associated with premier offensive tackles, but you wouldn't know it. His pass protection is exceptional, which is matched by a strong base on running plays and enough athleticism to make a difference at the second level when opportunities arise. Mauigoa can play either tackle with ease. This makes him a short-term replacement for Ekwonu and a potential long-term successor to Moton. And if fans don't think this is possible in the first round, they haven't been paying close enough attention.”   Excerpt From “Carolina Panthers 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft: Pushing forward edition” Cat Crave https://apple.news/AYEo7NKteR6mIGHtthRnzZQ This material may be protected by copyright.
    • I don't know their cap situation, but if they're able to pick up Malik Willis or Mac Jones, they could be trouble. Hell, they were only one game worse than us last year. If Cousins had played all season, who knows?
    • I think it is funny that we label coaches without considering their circumstances.  Bill Belichick has a .449 winning percentage as a head coach when Tom Brady was not under center.  He will be a Hall of Fame coach. Stephanski, on the other hand, was asked to function in the shadow of the Watson crippling signing, one that he opposed (as it came out recently).  I am not quite sure what to think of him, but I am not dismissing him as a bad coach.  He had the worst situation in the NFL the entire time he worked there.  Frustrations mounted between him and the players over the six years he was there, but the dysfunction was manufactured in the front office.
