I'm going full madden tard here..... Since about 2005 I've placed # 1-3 each year in a just about all fantasy bball leagues I enter, which is waaay too many. Batum is a fantasy managers dream. He's a stat stuffing machine across all categories. He had a awful year this pass season, true in using his measuring stick. Still this a gamble that could end very bad or very good. Last years team, well most here saw the terrible results in a weak eastern league. Cho is at least trying to shake things up, cause we know what doesn't work. Lance didn't, henderson shooting 3 didn't, young buck confused on the court didn't. ....... we'll see in due who got the better of this trade. Imo cho took a needed risk and got a prime ak-47, Marion, or iggy type that will not be playing 3/4 fiddle in the scoring department. All he gave up was another one year player that was very replaceable and a young guy who may or may not be a player tie AFTER his rookie deal is up. Yes it sucks, about the one year contract. Bird rights are super valuable these days.

      Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .

      Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.

      Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
