RIck and Morty Season 2! Wubba Lubba Dub Dub!

what a great show. I was worried that there might be a slight drop off or sophomore slump for season 2....but I loved the first episode. You've got to give Harmon and Roland credit....they constantly push the limits of tv. Splitting the screen into 64 mini tvs, all with something slightly different happening, was one hell of a thing to see. The fact that they "hate" S2E1 (they've said so in several interviews) makes me REALLY excited about the rest of season 2.

This is the best cartoon on TV.

Rick and Morty 100 years!

I've only seen one episode but from what I've seen there is definitely something there. Adult adventure time lol

I highly recommend season 1. The pilot is a LITTLE bit dull...but necessary for the set up. After that it's mostly home runs. Some of the side characters (Scary Terry and Mr. Meeseeks especially) are just fantastic, and a few moments are surprisingly deep and pack an emotional punch.

Scary Terry was the funniest.

Yeah my friend has been bugging me about watching the show so I think I'll give it a shot

What did you guys think about last night's episode? Obviously the Moonmen song was pretty catchy (by the 3rd time at least)...

I could have watched K. Bob assassinate government bugs for the entire 30 minutes and would have been happy. Alas, he was snuffed out too soon.

Some of my favorite parts though were just the little things. Ballfondlers playing on the TV, Mr. Meeseeks helping an alien win a video game in the background. Stuff like that makes me very happy. Overall I thought it was a good episode with a pretty predictable (for R&M that is) ending.

someone please take me to Blips and Chitz! It makes Dave and Busters look like a crappy version of Chuck E Cheeze (which is a crappy version of Showbiz Pizza)

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
