One thing I can say that I'm happy about is not having as much lag.

It's funny when people complain about it when in reality it's their computer that is possibly the problem. I only get lag when I play on a certain computer and thats because it doesnt meet the system requirements.

There are some problems with being logged out because of an error then having to wait in que. But the problems with this game are minimal and for a first launch I'm impressed so far.

ddo. all quests are instanced. closest you can get to the pen and paper modules from the late 80s/early 90s in an mmo

I would still classify the kind of quests DDO had as having kill quests tbh, especially considering it literally had quests like that in the outer worlds in the same way TOR does.

There are very very few quests in this game that are required for you to do for your class quests etc that require you to "kill x"(relative to other MMOs), most of them are to gather components, sabotage something, etc, almost all the "Kill X" quests are bonuses which are optional

that's not too bad. i like optional quests in instances, rare minibosses, that kind of stuff

there's a couple of instances on dcuo where there's 6 bosses and one main boss, but you'll only fight 2 of the 6 each time you go through. so each time you take a different path to kill a different set of bosses when you run it.

    • I would say the extremes from both camps in these conversations have to do with the blurring of the fact Bryce is a first overall pick and the expectations for that draft slot fair or not far exceed just being a top 20-25 starter amongst your peers. Regardless. All logical Panthers fans want him to be the answer.
    • The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.
    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
