I heard from ESPN updates that the offensive lines of both Bucs and Falcons played like sh!t tonight. Meanwhile our defense kept the almighty Brady in check. Sure he didn't have his top targets to throw to, but when does that ever matter for Brady?

When we get Big Money and our DTs back, our defense GON EAT.

being that we are a run-first team, I have faith the coaching staff will turn that around. And a healthy Cam will make up for lack of talent at WR.

Yes there are holes and problems. But I'm encouraged by the fact that the rest of the division is struggling.

I still think we win the division with 10 or 11 wins. Go Panthers and keep fugging pounding. That is all.

It's funny. The last two weeks on the Falcons board the majority of fans were predicting the falcons running away with the South with 12-4 or 13-3 type predictions.

Now there saying how bad o-line looks, the lin is going to get Ryan killed, there not going to face defened like Miami this season.

It seems Ryan was sacked 3 times, and pulled from the game before half time.

It's a good thing we are going to have a Top 5 Defense, because our offense is gonna suuuuuuuuuuck.

I don't think our offense is going to be so bad..  We were a few dropped passes from a blowout. They moved the ball decently. And if we go from a decent offense (which I think we would be with this improved o line and healthy weapons) to a shitty one because we lost one player not named Cam, that sucks

They play 5 straight games against good to great defenses to start the season. Then they play us... Twice. Not to mention that Tampa has a relatively good D as well.

Want to rethink your statement? Lol

I should have structured that post better. All those comments were lose quotes from the Falcons boards.

They are going to face some great fronts this season, some falcons fans are trying to convince themselves that it was just the Dolphins front 4 that made the O-line look so bad.

I didn't mean specifically from the Patriots' game, I meant more along the lines of having Shula as an OC without a true #1 receiver.

    • I would say the extremes from both camps in these conversations have to do with the blurring of the fact Bryce is a first overall pick and the expectations for that draft slot fair or not far exceed just being a top 20-25 starter amongst your peers. Regardless. All logical Panthers fans want him to be the answer.
    • The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.
    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
