most air yards lost due to drops..guess where Cam ranks?

That was like a 49-yard drop, nearly a 1/3 if the total just on that one drop.

Funchess missed a 20-yarder as well.

Wondering where our team ranks in total drops...because our receivers have been pretty sure-handed overall.

just glad we're getting out of Ginn what we expected. I'm sure most of us are getting about what we expected when we signed Ginn.

Just like tipped interceptions shouldn't count against the qb, this shouldn't either. Seems to me the haters are just looking for something and this was all they found.

Not sure this stat is showing any hatred towards Cam.  If anything it adds respect.  These are lost yards that would have made his totals better, yet he's being talked about as an MVP candidate thus far in the season.

Yep and his completion % would be well over 60% if not for drops. And he'd have a 8-1 TD-INT ratio instead of 7-2 if not for Norwood's drop.

9-1 if not for Ginns drop and 10-1 if Norwood catches that goal line pass last week.

WE NEED ANSWERS NOW!!!!

we just need our players to be healthy. It's getting too late in the season to throw another receiver in there. Might mess up what little chemistry we have.

Im just hoping Funchess starts making plays and gets better as the season progresses. I know KB hit that rookie wall, last season and Funchess really hasn't made much of an impact and needs to start doing some playmaking now that he hopefully has enough reps to start getting comfortable on the field.

Olsen is clearly our #1 target right now and Ginn is our #2. Cotchery will be back in the slot once he gets healthy and if Funchess can't start making plays, we might as well have Beesin in there instead of Funchess.

    • OK, let me first say that I can't get any Twitter link to embed--using "X" or "Twitter" or whatever, and I'm tired of trying. Now, I must say that I see Panthers stuff in Facebook on occasion as I'm part of some group, but I see Panthers stuff even less on the cesspool that is now X, but as a follower of the official Panthers Twitter, stuff pops up on that feed too. I guess that I shouldn't be surprised that agents of the organization would be putting out tweets like this: He's not even trying to be objective. It stands to make sense though. In order to get better information, you have to go to national sources like Kurt Warner.  I'm not necessarily trying to pick on J-Stew, per se, but I can't take him seriously, as even some past Panthers players, like Greg Olsen for example, don't seem like they're just trying to cater to Panthers Nation, just saying hollow words to make everyone feel good.  I just wonder why here on the Carolina Huddle, there seems to be more objectivity, or at least more critical thinking and serious discussion than most other social media sources on the Panthers. It's interesting. There is a significant difference.  For all the changes and the seeming decline in popularity to whatever degree, the Carolina Huddle still has its place and plays a big part in overall Panthers fandom. We want to be happy, joyous and cheer for the Panthers, but we aren't necessarily trying to shoot sunshine up people's derrières either.
    • Us if we give Bryce a big contract. But worse since what we gave up.
