How is the support for the Panthers in the Carolinas changing?

It's not actually.  The team is naturally getting more support over time, too. Because people like me (age 25) have grown up with the Panthers.  We now buy jerseys and tickets and reproduce.

The success obviously matters too, but it's not all bandwagoners in Panther nation anymore.

This guy has hit the nail on the head. We are basically still a 1st generation team. When the kids who have grown up Panther fans start bringing their kids, things will look a whole bunch better. It just takes time for a fan base to grow.

In another 10 years, when these  kids continue to show up and start bringing their kids, it will be harder and harder to opposing fans to get tickets.

As been said. Most of the older fans were fans of another team when we got the Panthers. I was a life-long Lions fan. Some of those fans still root for their old team, some, like me, are Panther 1st old team 2nd.

I realize that patience isn't big nowadays. Everyone wants it now. But building a solid fan base from scratch, especially when a lot of fans already had a team, takes time. Just relax and enjoy the ride. Cuz we all see how exciting this place has become.

Its 2015. Theres a whole new generation of Panther fans that has been the Carolinas team ever since they were born. We now have Panther Cubs being born around the south east.

Plus technology is way better from 2002.. example MNF. The stadium looked awesome, the colors, the light banners, the sound. Real cool poo.

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
