The Titans make me worry with their short passing game

I doubt Wright will go.  Justin Hunter is just a guy and maybe the least physical receiver I've ever seen in my life.  He's only going to make plays if he's wide open.  And even then he might just drop it anyway.  You are right about DGB.  He's apparently having trouble with the playbook but he seems to be coming along, albeit slowly.   That said, at 6'5 235 he's a major redzone threat and a matchup nightmare for opposing DBs in jump ball situations.

We face plenty of tall receivers every year with Julio Jones, Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson, and Marques Colston in our division. Our defense also gets to practice against Kelvin Benjamin (granted not for the past 10 weeks) and Devin Funchess (6'4" 225) so DGB and Hunter aren't a new or terrifying thing to us. Certainly helps that none of our CBs are under 6'0" tall.

How's Byron Bell working out for you? That's rhetorical btw. We are pleased with what Oher's done here. Certainly a step up from the #83 graded tackle last year out of 84 tackles. We aren't under the illusion Oher is a top 5 guy, but we certainly appreciate him being in the top half rather than next-to-dead-last. Thanks for cutting him. Remember, tho, he's not really gone from Nashville. He's still accounting for $4.34 million on your cap in dead money. Thanks neighbor.

Of course.  I wasn't trying to imply that DGB possesses something that a number of other receivers in the league do not.  I was just making the point that while he's yet to fully grasp the playbook he's still not totally worthless and can contribute in certain situations.

Byron Bell, eh.  The dude is not very good but I don't think we brought him in expecting him to be anything special.  Believe it or not we have bigger problems on our OL than him.  Oher was absolutely dreadful here.  I'm glad he's working out for you but he was doing nothing but stealing money and getting our QB killed when he was here.  I can assure you we don't miss him one bit.  Just goes to show you how much the situation/scheme can affect performance.

Really though our OL has been a mess for the past 4 or 5 years.  So it's not surprising that guys suck here and then go on to do well other places (Levitre being another example).

No need to chase off intelligent opposing fans with all that saltiness. :D

Mariota's super quick release and just overall comfort in the pocket is what has impressed me most about the kid.  He really does have the cool, calm demeanor of a 5 year vet.  I've yet to see him get rattled.  His two biggest flaws at this point are his deep accuracy and he has trouble holding onto the football.  Our OL is NOT good though and is likely going to get wrecked by your front 7.  If that happens you can expect Marcus to turn it over a couple of times.

in fairness, if all you are really asking your QB to do is dink super fast to one read.....you don't really get a chance to show what type demeanor he has yet.  RGIII won rookie of the year doing that.

This will be a big week for Shaq. The Titans play a lot of 12 and 21 personnel. He figures to be on the field for about 60% of the snaps.

These short passes/screen passes/ TE coverage is the reason we drafted Shaq.

His MO coming into the league was his affinity at ball hawking and blowing up screens.

I'm not inviting him over for afternoon tea :P

Have to ask the tough questions to find out how much they actually know to see if it's worth my time to start a conversation with them or ignore them as superficial bandwagon trolls. Better to find out right away how thick their skin is. You're welcome.

You don't have to feel too bad about Levitre. The Falcant fans are b!tching up a storm about him, too.

Have to thank you for hanging L's on the Taints and Sucs. Wish you could have done the same to the Falcants. I was yelling for you that day. And it does fill my heart with joy whenever MM is up for or wins an award and Crabbey doesn't.

I know Lebeau's your DC now, hence the solid defense. I respect what that man can do, but he's gonna have his hands pretty full with us. As far as our defense, I just can't see anything more worrying on your offense than we've already faced.
