You Stay Classy Philly

Anyone else feel Andy Reid acted and coached with total disregard for sportsmanship and class today? I'm all for a team putting your foot on someone's throat when you're up and crushing them, but he went way overboard. I felt like he had a personal dislike for us. I don't know if it's that he's still bitter about '03 or what. But I was pissed.

WTF was up with going for 2 different 4th downs in the 4th quarter when they were already up 28 points? WTF was up with bringing back in the first unit on their defense to stop us from scoring a sympathy TD? That was a total lack of class, and I don't ever remember seeing a team do sh*t like that other than Belichick and the Pats (which usually happens at least once a year). I usually pull for McNabb too as long as it's not detrimental to us, but I honestly feel he deserved the broken rib. That sh*t was ridiculous.

After the way they acted, I don't know how Fox even shook his hand. But, then again, I don't know why Fox has done a lot of things that he's done. Anyone else noticed this?

No, I like the way Belichek normally and today Reid stomps the piss out of their opponent. No mercy out there. Score 80 if you can.

I do too, but at some point, you gotta stop passing and going for TDs every play, and running trick plays... Run the ball and get the game over. You already did stomp the piss out of us by 28 points.

Eagles had problems of their own to iron out and work on. You think what the score would have been had they had their act together. They aren't obligated to take it easy because the other franchise can't form a group of competence deserving of taking the field.

The only thing that was ridiculous was the way the team played.(looking at you Jake)

I wish our team did what you claim was done to them.

It would be a nice change from all the conservative bullshit and shitty coaching.

Well, I was gonna say I thought we did do that some last year in some games... Like Tampa Bay on MNF... But, wait... What's that? You say we let them back in the game. lol... I think a changing of the guard is well on its way, this team is growing to be a punchline with each passing game.

    • Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.
    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
