Panthers ran a lot of 3-tackle sets w/ rookie Daryl Williams. Rivera indicated rookie WR Devin Funchess was to have come out in those sets.

Evidently one of the  reporters, (I assume was Person) called the league office to see if what RIvera told them yesterday about Cam and the protocol was true.  Pissed Ron off. Told them not to question his integrity like that.

Get so tired of hearing from Joe. He and David Newton seem to ask the same kinds of questions and make the same inferences. I'm all for the media being open and covering this team honestly, don't be a homer...that's fine. But shouldn't they be writing about things we care about rather than trying to tell us what to care about?

Joe Person has been the main local reporter the last several years who literally just looks to stir things up.

But The Observer doesn't care how crappy of a job he does, they probably encourage it based on some of the terrible pieces they've allowed to be put out about the hometown team over the years. Anything to get some attention.

Yeah, and Cam didn't demonstrate any symptoms of a concussion that I could see (unlike Keenum who was clearly concussed). Now they're questioning how Kuechly was handled? LOL
