Ive never seen a quarterback take that sort of pounding and just get up and keep punishing the other team OVER and Over again.

Theres a reason he draws that Huge a salary : the days of "Peyton Mannings" are gone. You know small brilliant guys that use their brains and win games. What teams are fielding are nothing but PURE mutants... and if you don't have the best on the field - You won't win.

Literally what can you do to stop him?  You blitz he beats you with his arm, you man up everyone in route he beats you with his legs, stack the box he runs through you or passes over the top.  You disguise your defense he picks it apart.  You put a spy on him he beats your spy.  Literally the only way he can be stopped is if the entire oline trips over their shoelaces all simultaneously and even then he's capable of out running your guys to get the edge and make something out of nothing.  Freak of nature, Plays with broken ribs, surgically repaired ankle and broken back and manages to bring his team to the playoffs.  When healthy he is undefeated.  Just crazy man, great time to be a diehard panther fan.

Great post, especially in your summary, towards the end!

Your post was cool, except Peyton Manning's not a "small guy", though Brilliant, yes!

Starting to become manning with legs... Brains included...

When obj scored camera went to Newton and he just smiled and nodded and said ok... Knew there the game was not gonna be lost.

I seen this too, there was zero doubt in his mind what he was going to do and there was nothing the Giants and Beckham could do about it.  In games like this when it comes down to it with Mr. Newton under center I don't even fret because I know what is coming.

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
