when the josh harnett pearl harbor came out i naively expected a tora tora tora remake. i have never been so disappointed in all my life.

FML this movie was just on a Premium Channel and I stumbled across it and watching it was like coming upon the vomited skeletal remains of a Great Horned Owl's dinner.

This book changed my outlook on history. I had the author as my professor for two semesters. He got ripped on by the History Channel in a feature for his view but the guy actually made a compelling case.

interesting. what is his main argument re: the war that is so opposed by the history channel?

Everything that led to the events of Pearl Harbor was NOT connected to Hitler and Germany directly. When Japan attacked, it was sensationalized by our media and figureheads that Hitler was behind the act of terrorism (without too much effort to the masses -- the public had assumed Hitler was behind the attacks just like Saddam was apparently connected to the 9/11 attacks) when in reality he never even discussed the concept with Japan's officials in charge of it.

nice, i'll check it out

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
