LOL at this thread.

I see that Monday night is when the Jake slurpers come out to play on the Huddle.

Congratulations guys. You support Jake. Just like every Falcon, Saint, Buc fan out there. They too support Jake and want him to remain our quarterback for as long as possible. 11 turnovers in 2 games speaks for itself.

Oh but I forgot. He's a NICE GUY and people LIKE HIM and he has a FIERY ATTITUDE and amazing LEADERSHIP ABILITIES and he ANSWERS REPORTERS' QUESTIONS and is a STANDUP GUY with CHARISMA. All of which are qualities much more important than delivering an accurate pass to a receiver on your own team.

iF THE team is behind him, then dammit I AM TOO.

I dont get the info they have, or know what they know, so I will follow their lead.

I am not a coach, player, or GM.

I am a fan.

its my job to stick with my team, when its great and when its bad.

Dont forget THE REASON people are pissed is because this team IS A GOOD TEAM....

1 game is not going to define who we are...

Thats what SEASONS are for...

:cheers2:

It pains me to see this happening to our team. I have, and always will be, a Jake fan. Let us not forget he has led us to two NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl. However, the last two games have been atrocious for him. Sunday, the first pass was tipped when it was intercepted. If it was all of Jakes fault, then our RB's should've had more yards (I think a little over 70 yards combined) but obviously they struggled too.

If it is Jakes time to go, or become a back up, I wish Panther fans would treat the situation with a little class instead of personal bashing. I myself am guilty of this because I was one of those that attacked Peppers in the off season.

If it is Jakes time I thank him for his loyalty and class. Otherwise I want him on the field to represent the team that I love.

Continue to place an entire game's worth of poor coaching, poor blocking, and poor decision-making on one guy. Overlook the 24 points that the defense gave up, short field or not. Dismiss the seven points our special teams gave up (or more accurately, the seven points the NFL awarded the Eagles for signing Vick). Forget that none of our backup QBs were any more effective than Jake. Do all of that, not because it's truth, but because it's the chic thing to do, it's an easy way out. LOL at you.

I dare you to say that to Gross, Smith, & others of his supporters on the team. In fact, say it to their face, bub. So....are they like Falcons, Saints, & Bucs fans too for sticking up for him? Wow, you're full of it. But then, some are too angry to think straight.

What about the free 14 points Jake gave up. He hurt the team by trying to be cute instead of holding on to the ball and taking the sack. The defense actually looked pretty good. Its hard to ask them to continally stop the opposing offense when you're own offense is turning the ball over on a consistent basis. LOL @ U!

Nah, you're right. It's perfectly fine for a QB to give opposing teams free points plus more turnovers and expect the Defense not to be worn out as a result. You're a real Einstein.

Tell me, oh wise one: When did the Eagles time of possession surpass the Panthers' time of possession?

Here's a hint: It was well after the Panthers lost control of the game. If the Panthers defense was more worn out than the Eagles D at that point, then it goes back to conditioning.

Ball Posession For the Eagles:

One time, CAR 32 (Because of INT)

Another, CAR 9 (Because of INT)

Another, CAR 10 (Because of INT)

Another, CAR 42 (Because of INT)

Another, CAR 47 (Because of Fumble - Where it was fumbled)

So I guess you're gonna blame the Defense because of that right?

You didn't answer my question. Nice evasion tactic.

Eagles Time of Posession: 31:27

Panthers Time of Posession: 28:23

You said the Eagles had more TOP after the Panthers game was out of reach, so you're putting blame on them cause of that? You got to take in consideration the field position for the Eagles as well. If not, you're only being ignorant. They played well under the circumstances. Oh and nice evasion of my point that supports the Defense.

    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
    • He was a more accurate passer at 56.2%. That's what I mean. Even by outlier standards, this dude was inaccurate. Closest I can recall to something like that would have been one of those GT QB's like Reggie Ball. Career 48.6% passer.
